Hi! Thank you for visiting my site.

My name is Ferdinand Veldmans, and I'm an enthousiast photographer based in the Netherlands. I started with photography when digital compacts became affordable in 2001. After a couple of thousand pictures and learning from numerous books, websites and magazines, things became more serious when I joined a photoclub in 2004. For this club I also developed the website.

For me photography is about sharing the beauty of this world and its people with others. It has allowed me to make contact with lots of people resulting in some surprising encounters and great pictures. Favorite topics are street and travel photography, landscapes and macro.

I love to share the results of my work through Facebook, photo books and audio/video presentations.
